AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF ROLLINS ROAD
TO NORTH CAROLAN AVENUE
The City Council of the City of Burlingame do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. The name of ROLLINS ROAD, as said road is
described in that certain deed from Lyon and Hoag, a Corporation,
formerly Boston Investment Co., a Corporation, to the City of
Burlingame, a Municipal Corporation, dated June 6, 19490 which
deed was filed in the Office of the County Recorder of the
County of San Mateo, State of California, on the 22nd day of
June, 1949, in Volume 1678 of official records at Page 717, and
which said Rollins Road is declared to be an open and public
street and right-of-way in the City of Burlingame by Resolution
No. 38-49 of the City Council of said City adopted June 20, 1949s
is hereby changed from "ROLLINS ROAD" to "NORTH CAROLAN AVENUE"
except that portion described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northwesterly line
of Broadway distant N 330 47f 30" E 400 feet
from the northeasterly right -o£ -way line of the
S.P.R.R. Companys thence N 620 121 W 581.99 feet
to the beginning of a curve concave to the south
with a radius of 20 feet and a central angle of
840 00► 30" thence on are of said curve 29.32
feet• thence S 330 47+ 30" W 111.72 feet, thence
N 62� 121 W 78.34 feet to the beginning of a
curve concave to the north with a radius of 20
feet a central angle of 840 001 30"; thence
northeasterly on the are of said curve 29.32 feet;
thence N 330 47+ 30" E 172.04 feet; thence
S 620 121 E 660.33 feet to a point on the
northwesterly line of Broadway; thence S 330 471 30"
E along last mentioned line to point of beginning.
Section 2, This Ordinance shall be published once as
required by law.
