AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 601, 608, 635 AND
650 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF BDRLINGAME
BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE CIVIL
SERVICE COMMISSION, THE FIRE COMMISSION, THE
RECREATION COMMISSION AND THE PARK COMMISSION FROM
FIVE MEMBERS TO SEVEN MEMBERS EACH.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: Section 601 of the Ordinance Code of the City
of Burlingame is hereby amended to provide that the Civil Service
Commission shall be increased from five members to seven members
on the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 2: Section 608 of the Ordinance Code of the City
of Burlingame is hereby amended to provide that the Fire Commis-
sion shall be increased from five members to seven members on
the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: Section 635 of the Ordinance Code of the City of
Burlingame is hereby amended to provide that the Recreation
Commission shall be increased from five members to seven members
on the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: Section 650 of the Ordinance Code of the City
of Burlingame is hereby amended to provide that the Park Commiss-
ion shall be increased from five members to seven members on the
effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 5: All of the remaining provisions of Sections 601,
608, 635 and 650 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame
shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be published once as
required by law.

foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting held by
the City Council, on the 16th day of May, 1955, and adopted
thereafter at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of June, 1955,1
by the following vote:
