AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE
CODE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME BY
ADDING A NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBERED
415 PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF THE
OFFICE OF "PARK SUPERVISOR": DEFINING
HIS DUTIES: AND REPEALING INCONSISTENT
CODE PROVISIONS.
The City council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame is hereby
amended by adding thereto a new section to be numbered 415 to
read and provide as follows:
"SECTION 415 - PARK SUPERVISOR
The Title of the position formerly entitled 'PARK
DEPARTMENT HEAD' is changed to 'PARK SUPERVISOR.'
The Park Supervisor shall devote his full time to
the supervision and control of all work in con-
nection with and relating to all City Parks, square
public grounds and buildings, the ornamentation and
beautification of the streets, highways, roads and
avenues of the City, and to such functions and
duties as may from time to time be fixed and pre-
scribed by the Park Commission."
SECTION 2. Section 402 of the Ordinance Code, as amended by
Ordinance No. 398, is hereby amended by repealing all of Subdivi-
sion E thereof; all other code sections or ordinances or parts of
the Ordinance Code in conflict with this ordinance are also
repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published once as required r
law.

foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 20th day of December, 1954, and adopted
thereafter on the 3rd day of January 1955, by the following
vote:
