AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 51 OF PART X OF THE ORDINANCE
3 CODE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISH-
MENT OF FIRE ZONES WITHIN THE CITY AND REPEALING ALL
4 ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH

6 The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
7 as follows:
8 SECTION 1. Article 51 of Part X of the Ordinance Code
9 of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended to read and provide
10 as follows:
11 "ARTICLE 51
FIRE ZONES

Section 1999 A - The City shall be divided into three fire
13
zones or districts, the descriptions and delimitations of which
14
shall be as set forth in the following three sections and as
15
shown on the map hereto attached, entitled 'Fire Zone, City of
16
Burlingame, San Mateo County, California, Revision of March,
17
1956,E which map is hereby incorporated in and made a part of
18
this ordinance.

Section 1999.1 - FIRE ZONE NUMBER I - Fire Zone Number I
20
shall embrace and be coextensive with all of that part or portion
21.
of the City shown upon said map and marked 'FIRE ZONE I'.

Section 1999.2 - FIRE ZONE NUMBER II - Fire Zone Number II
23
shall embrace and be coextensive with all of that part or portion
24
of the City shown upon said map and marked 'FIRE ZONE II1.

Section 1999.3 - FIRE ZONE NUMBER III - Fire Zone Number III
26
shall embrace and include all of the territory within the city
27
limits save and except that which is included in Fire Zones I and
28
II as described and delimited in Sections 1999.1 and 1999.2."

SECTION 2. All sections of this code in conflict

herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held
,invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction
such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
(provision, and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published as re-
quired by law. N

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
5th _ day of March , 1956, and adopted thereafter
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day
of March , 1956s by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Byrd-Johnson-ldorgan-Rooth-Thayer
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: None
