AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1300 AND 1301 AND
REPEALING SECTION 1302 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF
THE CITY OF BURLINGAME RELATING TO FIREWORKS
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1300 of the Ordinance Code of the
City of Burlingame is hereby amended to read as follows:
"A. Dangerous Fireworks. No person shall possess,
sell, deliver, deal in, use, explode or fire, or cause to be
used, exploded or fired, any form of fireworks designated as
'dangerous fireworks' by section 12503 of the Health and Safety
Code of the State of California as said section was in effect
on the effective date of this ordinance.
"B. Safe and SareFireworks, The possession, sale,
delivery, dealing in, use, exploding or firing of any form of
fireworks designated as 'safe and sane fireworks' by section
12504 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California
as said section was in effect on the effective date of this
ordinance is expressly permitted."
SECTION 2. Section 1301 of the Ordinance Code of the
City of Burlingame is hereby amended to read as follows:
"No person shall make a public display of fireworks
without a permit authorizing him so to do issued by the City
Council of the City of Burlingame after application made as
provided in sections 12600 through 12609, inclusive, of the
Health and Safety Code of the State of California as said sections
were in effect on the effective date of this ordinance."
SECTION 3. Section 1302 of the Ordinance Code of the
City of Burlingame is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published once as
required by law,

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
20th day of February , 1956, and adopted thereafter at
ja regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of
1956, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Byrd -Johnson -Morgan -Rooth -Thayer
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: None
