AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE
CITY OF BURLINGAP,9E BY REPEALING THE EXISTING
SECTION 401.1 AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 401.1 RE-
QUIRING ALL PURCHASES OF MATERIAL TO BE MADE
THROUGH THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 401.1 of the Ordinance Code of the
City of Burlingame, as adopted June 18, 1951, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. There is hereby established a new Section
401.1 which shall read and provide as follows:
"Section 401.1. All purchases of material by
any department of the City must be processed
through the Office of the City Clerk for ap-
proval of price, quantity and reception."
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published as re-
quired by law.

lingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was in-
troduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
19th day of December , 1955, and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 3rd day of January, 1956, by the following vote:
