AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 825 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE
CITY OF BURLINGAME AND ADOPTING A NEW SECTION 825 OF SAID
ORDINANCE CODE, FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE CLASSIFICATION OF
POSITIONS AND EMPLOYMENT AND THE COMPENSATION AND SALARIES THERE-
FOR FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, 1958
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
Section 1, Section 825 of the Ordinance Code of the City of
Burlingame, as established September 39 1957, by Ordinance No. 660,
and ordinances amendatory thereof, is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby established a new Section 825 of
the Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame, fixing and establis;
ing the classifications and salaries, compensation, and rates of
pay during the month of October, 1958, for employees of the City
regularly occupying civil service positions allocated to them as
of July 1, 1958; and any employee subsequently entering the class-
ified service shall receive, during the month of October, 1958,
the entrance rate fixed in the schedule hereinafter set forth for
the classification for which such employee is appointed.
Section 3. The classification schedule and the compensation
for the positions therein set forth are hereby fixed and establish-
ed as follows:

Section 8. The rates of pay set forth in the foregoing
represent the standard monthly rate of compensation in
rms of dollars per month based upon full time employment except
the City Attorney whose rate of compensation is based upon part
e employment and who may be paid such additional compensation as
City Council may fix and determine.
Section 9. If any section, subsection, clause, phrase, or

diction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the re-
maining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of this City
hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance and each
section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion thereof,,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections,
clauses, phrases, or portions may be declared invalid or un-
constitutional.
Section 10. This ordinance shall be published as required
by law.
