AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF
BURLINiGAME BY ADDING SECTION 1399.10 PROHIBITING THE
PAVING OF AREAS BETWEEN CURB AND SIDEWALK
follows:
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
SECTION 1. The Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame
is hereby amended by adding a new Section 1399.10 which shall
provide and read as follows:
"Section 1399.10 Paving of Parking Strias Prohibited
It shall be unlawful for any person to pave, or to cause
or permit to be paved, with cement, brick, asphalt, stone, wood,
or with any other material or substance, the area between the
sidewalk and the curb, except for driveways installed pursuant
to the provisions of this Code, without obtaining a written permit
issued jointly by the City Enginser and the Superintendent of
Parks. No such permit shall be issued where the health, safety or
general welfare of the public may be impaired thereby."

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published as required

the City Council held on the List day of July
1958, and adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City
