AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY
OF BURLINGAME BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 1223.1 REGULATING
PARKING OF VEHICLES ON HILLS
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame
is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 1223.1 which shall
read and provide as follows:
"Section 1223.1 PARKING ON HILLS
No person shall park or leave standing any
vehicle unattended on any street or highway when
upon any grade exceeding 3% without blocking the
wheels of said vehicle by turning them against
the curb or by other means."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once as re•
quired by law.

I. Herbert K. White, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the
foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 16th day of February , 1959,
and adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 2nd day of March , 1959, by the following
vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Byrd -Johnson -Rooth -Morgan -Thayer
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: None
