AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1206.1(b) OF THE
BURLINGAME ORDINANCE CODE REGULATING THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF CROSSWALKS ON PUBLIC STREETS
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Sub -paragraph (b) of Section 1206.1 of the
Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended to read
and provide as follows:
"(b) Other than crosswalks at intersections, no cross-
walk shall be established in any block which is less than four
hundred (400) feet in length. Elsewhere not more than one additio
al crosswalk shall be established in any one block and such cross-
walk shall be located as nearly as practicable at mid -block.',
by law.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published as requir

the foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the "6th day of August , 1962,
and adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 20th day of August , 1962, by the following
vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Johnson, Lorenz, Martin
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: Crosby, Morgan
