AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 484 AND ADDING
SECTION 1222.27 TO THE BURLINGAIE ORDINANCE CODE
ESTABLISHING PARKING REGULATIONS GOVERNING MUNICIPAL
PARKING LOTS
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance Number 484 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. Section 1222.27 is hereby added to the Burlin
Ordinance Code which shall read and provide as follows:
"Section 1222.27. TdUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person o park any
vehicle on any property owned or possessed by the
City and maintained by it as a public municipal park-
ing lot for a period longer than two (2) hours between
the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.Z,., Su days and
holidays excepted, and it shaLl be unlawful for any
person to park any vehicle on any such property for
a period longer than one (1) hour between said hours
from and including the first to the twenty-fifth days
of December in any year, Sundays and holidays excepted.
(2) Such parking lots as may be designated as "all -day"
parking lots by the Chief of Police are hereby excepted
from the provisions of this sections'
SECTION 3. The Chief of Police is hereby authorized
and directed to procure and install appropriate signs giving
notice of the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published as required by
law.

foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 23rd day of April , 1962, and
adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 7th day of May , 1962, by the following vote:
