AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1222.1 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE REGU-
LATING PARKING ON THE WESTERLY SIDE OF CALIFORNIA DRIVE BY REPEAL-
ING THE PROHIBITION AGAINST PARKING VEHICLES BETWEEN OAK GROVE
AVENUE AND NORTH LANE FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Sub -section (c) of Section 1222.1 of the 1941
Ordinance Code as amended by Ordinance No. 666 is hereby further
amended to repeal the prohibition of the parking of vehicles on
the westerly side of California Drive between the hours of 4:00
P.M. and 6:00 P.M. As amended said sub -section (c) of Section
1222.1 shall read and provide as follows:
"c. It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to
park such vehicle on the westerly side of California Drive from
Palm Avenue to Bellevue Avenue for a period longer than one hour
between the hours of 9 o'clock a.m. and 6 o'clock p.m. on any
day, Sundays and holidays excepted."
SECTION 2. Sub -section (d) of Section 1222.1 is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works is hereby directed
and ordered to procure and install appropriate signs, or to re-
move inappropriate existing signs, as the case may be, giving
notice of the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. All provisions of this code inconsistent with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published as required
by law._..�

foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 2nd day of November , 196,
and adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Counci
held on the 16th day of November 1964, by the follow
ing vote:

Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: Crosby
