AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 51020 OF THE 1941 BURLINGAME ORDINANCE
CODE AND PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING OF THEATERS
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1020 of the 1941 Burlingame Ordinance
Code, as adopted by Ordinance No. 443, is hereby amended to read
and provide as follows:
"Section 1020. Theaters. Every person conducting
or operating a theater for showing moving pictures or for
the presentation of plays, musicals, operas, operatta, revues,
or similar presentation of entertainment and amusement, having
a seating capacity of not more than 1,000 persons shall pay an
annual license fee of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00),
and every person conducting or operating such a theater having
a seating capacity in excess of 1,000 persons shall pay an
annual license fee of two hundred follars ($200.00)."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once as required
by law. i

adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Council held
