A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE THE EXTENSION OF
THE AGREEMENTS WITH AFSCME LOCAL 829 ADMINISTRATIVE AND
MAINTENANCE UNITS
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame and representatives from the AFSCME Local 829
Administrative and Maintenance Units have met to discuss the extension of the agreements for
one year, provide a 3% salary increase effective the first full pay period of July 2018, and
incorporate administrative changes to other terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the City and the AFSCME Local 829 Administrative and Maintenance Units
agreed to language on the extension, the salary, and administrative changes to existing
language in the MOUS; and
WHEREAS, the City and the AFSCME Local 829 representatives have met to negotiate
the terms of the extended agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
The attached MOUs extending the agreements for the AFSCME Local 829 Administrative
and Maintenance Units between AFSCME Local 829 and the City of Burlingame are hereby
approved.
2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Memorandums of
Understanding between AFSCME Local 829 Administrative and Maintenance Units and the
Citv of Burlingame.

foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of
March, 2017, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BEACH, BROWNRIGG, COLSON, KEIGHRAN, ORTIZ
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
