BUSINESS: Trustee Kriloff gave a report of the P.L.S. Advisory Board meeting held on February 16. Reports were given by the Outreach Chairmen of different libraries. He said that the College of San Mateo wants to join the Peninsula Library System. If CSM does join, their TV and radio station might be used to contact more outreach people. Trustee Kriloff also reported on the possibility of eliminating fines for senior citizens. He stated that Menlo Park does not have seven day books. He feels it might be advisable to circulate questionnaires to patrons, which could be put in all books as they circulate, filled out by the patrons at home and returned when the books are returned. Trustee Kriloff said the Advisory Board should know what it can do to improve service to patrons. Trustee Nagle agreed that it would be a good idea to circulate such a questionnaire. `-- Mrs. Bergsing said she thought it would be best for all libraries to participate in circulating such a questionnaire, and suggested that a committee work on the questionnaire.
