STUDY SESSION: 6:00 p.m. - Conference Room A
a. City Council and Traffic, Safety & Parking Commission joint meeting
• Investigate feasibility of new parking technology for downtown areas and find ways to adapt to
changing downtown parking needs
• Focus on establishing additional Class II bikes lanes in the City
• Establish and sponsor some bike safety seminars for the public
• Find ways to be more proactive in getting TSPC involved in City projects, i.e. presence at public
events and/or better web presence
• Involvement in public meetings/discussions regarding the future downtown parking studies
• Work on improving various pedestrian corridors citywide
• Involvement in public meetings/discussions regarding high speed rail parking impacts to
Burlingame at Millbrae Intermodal Station

4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Regular Council Meeting of February 22, 2011
5. PRESENTATIONS
a. Presentation of a Proclamation recognizing the American Red Cross
b. Healthy Lifestyle presentation by Jean Fraser
c. Presentation by PG&E on gas line assessment in Burlingame
6. PUBLIC HEARING
a. Conduct a public meeting concerning amendment to the San Mateo County Tourism Business
Improvement District to add the City of Brisbane, to add a Brisbane representative to the District
Advisory Board and to establish and levy assessments on the hotel businesses in Brisbane
7. PUBLIC COMMENTS – At this time, persons in the audience may speak on any item on the agenda or any other matter
within the jurisdiction of the Council. The Ralph M. Brown Act (the State local agency open meeting law) prohibits Council from
acting on any matter that is not on the agenda. Speakers are requested to fill out a “request to speak” card located on the table by the
door and hand it to staff. The Mayor may limit speakers to three minutes each.
8. STAFF REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS
a. Request to de-annex 1125 Jackling Drive
9. COUNCIL COMMITTEE AND ACTIVITIES REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS Council Members report on committees and activities and make announcements.
