Minutes
April 16th, 1996
1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting of March 19th, 1996 was called to order by Secretary Herman
at 4:37 pm.
2. ROLL CALL:
Trustees Present: Berger, Cannon & Herman
Trustees Absent: Dunbar&Taylor
Staff Present: Alfred Escoffier,City Librarian
Judy Gladysz,Administrative Secretary
�. 3. BILLS:
M/S/C (Cannon/Berger) unanimously to approve the payment of City
checks.
4. MINUTES:
The Minutes of the Meeting of March 19th, 1995 were approved as written
and ordered filed.
5. CORRESPONDENCE AND COMMUNICATIONS:
All correspondence had been mailed in the Trustee packets.

6. REPORTS:
a. City Librarian's Report:
There was no discussion.
b. System Advisory Board Report - Cannon:
Trustee Cannon said she had no report because there is no meeting
until May and Shirley Robertson will be attending the meetings then.
c. Foundation Report: Herman:
Trustee Herman said the Foundation is getting organized to solicit
donations.
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
a. Duncan Trust Response:
Librarian Escoffier had written a memo to the Board explaining the
availability of the Duncan Funds. It was included in the correspondence packet.
S. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Request to Friends:
M/S/C (Cannon/Berger) unanimously, to approve the request for funds to
the Friends of the Library.
9. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting of April 16th, 1996 was adjourned at 4:55 pm. The next regular
Board meeting will be held on May 21st, 1996 in the Conference Room at 130 Park
Road.
