Trustee Bacigalupi stated that if in fact the Library is being used to "baby sit" the after-school children from OLA, that Mrs . " Both the California State Librarian and Utah State Librarian were speakers at the Workshop. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Project Read: Mrs . Bergsing said she had called the City Librarian at San Mateo Public Library for information as requested by the Board at their January meeting. Mrs. Bergsing said however that she had not, to date, received a budget for Project Read. She gave a breakdown of the funds and staff required to run Project Read, and informed the Board that she would be attending a forum next Tuesday and perhaps she could obtain further information about the program. The Board members concurred they would be interested in seeing the budget for the Project Read before requesting funds from the City of Burlingame to supplement the program. Mrs. Bergsing said she would, once again, request a budget as well as statistics for a completion rate. They further requested that the Director of Project Read and/or Nancy Crabbe, the City Librarian at San Mateo Public be invited to the March Board meeting. Trustees as Links to Community Groups : Trustee Cannon stated that the Trustees were excellent links to the other community groups in which they participate.
