7. PUBLIC HEARING
a. Public Hearing on proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2011-2012
8. PUBLIC COMMENTS – At this time, persons in the audience may speak on any item on the agenda or any other matter
within the jurisdiction of the Council. The Ralph M. Brown Act (the State local agency open meeting law) prohibits Council from
acting on any matter that is not on the agenda. Speakers are requested to fill out a “request to speak” card located on the table by the
door and hand it to staff. The Mayor may limit speakers to three minutes each.

a. Adopt a Resolution of Intent to set a public hearing regarding approval of a land exchange
between the City of Burlingame and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church
b. High Speed Rail update and statement of principles
c. Renewed and revised agreement with Burlingame Aquatics Club
10. APPROVAL OF CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Adopt a Resolution awarding a construction contract to W. R. Forde Associates for the
neighborhood storm drainage improvements project No. 3
b. Adopt a Resolution approving the third amendment to agreement for animal control and shelter
services between the City of Burlingame and the County of San Mateo
c. Prospective sale of U. S. Post Office property on Lorton Avenue
11. COUNCIL COMMITTEE AND ACTIVITIES REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS Council Members report on committees and activities and make announcements.
a. Report on Fire Board meeting concerning request for proposal from Cal Fire
