memo regarding parking problems in the Burlingame Avenue area and
possible remedial measures. The following recomnendations vrere
endorsed for inclusion in the Commission's recommendations to the
City Council :
1. Conversion of short-term off-street parking to ten-hour Parking.
a. Lot K--convert tlrenty-eight existing sixty degree angl-e
parking stalIs to ninety degree ang1e, a' x 16'
compact stalls. Ten hours for $1 .00.
b. Lot A2-convert fifty per cent of existing two-hour 6ta11s
to ten-hours for $1. OO .
c. Lot L--convert all stalls to ten-hours for $1.0O.
2 Conversion of existing short-term off-street parking to metered
short-term.
a. Ninety per cent of stalls trro-hour maximum at $O.LOrlhr.
b. Ten per cent of stalls four-hour maximum at $O.25,/hr.
One-hour on-street metered at $0.20,/hr.
a. South of Bellevue and north of Howard Avenues--Lorton Avenue
to El Camino Real.
b. Donnelly Avenue--ten-hour meters to be conved to one hour.

staff vrras requested to prepare a map showing aIl recommended
changes made thus far so that the Commission could review the
over-all changes and make such additions and alterations needed
to make final reconuoendations to City Council .
