CURRENT BUSINESS:
!1r. spencer gave a report on Chamber of Commerce meeting ofApril 8, 198O, that dealt with parking problems.
Mr. cates introduced !1r. Walker.
Mr. walker presented a conceptual plan for constructing a parking
Etructure on parking Lot E. adjacent to the Park Road poEt Office.
ceneral discussion followed.
Commission discussed providing specific recommendations for City
Council on raising parking fees. Will attenpt to finalize recom-
mendations at special meeting ltay 22, 1980, in conformance to
Com. Fehlhaber' s suggestion.
b. Conunission reviewed the letter of lrtrs. Bowl ing regarding sightobstruction at the intersection of Cabrlllo and Meline Drive.After review. the Commission decided no specific action was
necessary at this t i:ne in light of the low accident history and
the minimal sight distance impairment. They instructed 6taff to
continue surveillance of the intersection.

until regular meeting of May.
