CURRENT BUSINESS:
Burl ing ame Avenue Area Parking. Commissioner Graham made a verbal
presentation regarding possibLe changes in time limits and parking
fees in the Burlingame Avenue Area Parking District. After extensive
discussion, the Commission requested that Commissioner Graham PrePare
an itemized list of the changes for study at the next commission
meeting. Eng. Moore was asked to supply a map of the subject area
and any current data on parking demand that might be available.
Conuniesioner Fehlhaber requested that the Finance Director provide
an estimate of costs for amortization of the bonds proposed for
financing the $10,000,000.00 parking improvement.
A brief discussion was held regarding the
item in the Planning Commission minutes.

Commissioner Kreling asked to be excused at 9:10 P.m.

new informat ion.
Fox Mall Lane "No stop ping or Parking" Signs. staff had no new
informat ion .

Deferred discussion until next meeting, and
general study of parking probLems in the area.
A11-day parking in Broadtray Area.staff reported that exiating signs
had been shrouded in conformance with CounciL direction.

OLD BUSINESS:
a. Staff reported on meeting with staff of Mercy High School re.,
their letter about traffic problems,
Com. Aliamus stated that the 50-50 ltuffler shop on El Camino
ReaI blocked the sidewalk area with vehicles on February 11,
\2, and 13. He also reported that at 1004 Park Avenue, a gate
across the driveway causes the vehicles belonging to a contractor
using the property to block the sidewalk.
NEW BUSINESS:
a. Com. Aliamus reported that the General Appliance Co., parks
their vehicles on Howard Avenue all night. He also reported
that a vehicle parks in the driveway of the building next door
to General Appliance Co., and blocks the sidewalk in the mornings,
b. It was noted that although the Traffic Eng.'s Letter to Mrs.
Siddons was distributed to the Commission, there were no copies
of her letter. will be supplied,
c. Com. Fehlhaber questioned the necessity of two-hour parking limit-ation on Carmelita Avenue between California Drive and EI CaminoReal. Staff to investigate.
d. It was reported that new cars are being parked along CaliforniaDrive near Oak Grove Avenue on the S.F. Water Department right-
of-way.
