Local Streets & Road Engineering & Traffic Survey at Hillside
between Cabrillo and Drake. - After much discussion and
explanation of the current driving patterns on Hillside Dr.,
as evidenced by 3 recent speed surveys by Moore, an explanation
was given that radar in speed traps is illegal evidence, if
this is used on a street that has been surveyed as needing a
different or higher speed limit. The visitors wanted the speed
limit to stay as it is.
Moore survey revealed the speed Iimit should be 30 MPH.
No action is to be taken without residents support. There was
no support for increase of speed limit so radar could be used.
