Approved as corrected.

Adeline-Alvarado (near School) - Four-t"lay Stop Signs.
Comm. Foley reported there is only a 3-way stop sign at tation. His recomnendation was for 4-way stop signs. Mot

A prev'ious request had been made via telephone to Traffic Engineer
Tom Moore by Mr. l,lalsh. He was instructed by T. Moore to put
his request in letter form and mail to him. This letter was neverreceived. Decision was made by the Commission that no further
action was necessary at this time and to drop from the Agenda
unt il correspondence is received.

1400 Rol lins Road Parking - Vehicles Exiting Parking Lot.
Unable to see oncoming northbound vehicles. Commissioners wilI Iookat this area before the September meeting. l^lill be on the September
Agenda for discussion. Traffic Engineer Moore and Sgt. Haseleu will
also look at this area and bring a report to the Commission.
Fifteen-Minute Green Zone - Trousdale/Magnolia Avenue.
This area was being used for long term parkjng. At present there
does not seem to be a problem here. The Pol ice Department reportedthat extra enforcement had been increased in this area. This has
resulted in improved obedience of the parking time. Due to this
improvement, the Commission recommended no further action at thistime. The Pol ice Department will maintain the enforcement here,
T. Moore wilI send Mr. Constantino a letter reporting the improvement'in the parking for this area.

.2 The Conrmission recommended writing to Police Department
to request they continue with the enforcement in this area.
Motion carried and seconded (Ho1 lman/E1 1is); carried unanimously
by the Conrnission.
7. INFORMATION ITEMS.
7.1.1 Council and other Commission Minutes.
7.1.2 Correspondence. None
A discussion was held by the Commission when Comm. Hollman reported that the
Shell Service Station at the corner of EI Camino Real and Burlingame Avenue
has placed a sign reading ''2-H0UR PARKING FOR $2.00." As many cars as they
can get into this area are being parked al1 day and into the evening hours.
Since the August 8, 1985 TSP meeting, Traffic Engineer Moore discussed the
above with Ralph E. Kirkup, Director of Public Works. Mr, Kirkup has refer-
red the Shell parking of cars in their lot to the Planning Department.
