1 Trial Parking Limit Changes - Magnolia Avenue - Westerly Sideto Murch i son.

2 1100 Howard Avenue at Highland - Yosizono Enterprises - Green Zone.
It was moved and seconded (Johnson/Sulger) that green zone be made
into 2-hour parking space. Motion was approved unanimously.
3 Arata Motors - California Drive/Howard Avenue - Request for Parking Meters,
Conm. Abrahamson inspected this location. His recommendation was not toinstall meters. Sgt. Haseleu offered more enforcement in
marking tires. Arata Motors will ask their employees notthis area. Motion was made and seconded ( Su I ger/Abrah amsothe extra enforcement for two months. At the end of this

In this area, the City Council has only authorized nonpayment at
meters in one-hour zones. From past experience with "free,, meters,parkers may have a tendency to overstay the time Iimit.
The Commission wilI not support having "free" meters. Denial was re-
commended. Motion carried and seconded (Foley/ElIis.)
Traffic Engineer lYoore will write a letter to Crawford and paul
Universal Office Equipment informing them of Commission,s decision.

Extension of Red Zone - Rollins/Ingold. Comm. Hollman inspectedthis area. After much discussion, it was decided to remove one
car length of the Red Zone at norther'ly section of the existing
northerly Red Zone and adding one car length of Red Zone at the
most southerly end of the existing southerly Red Zone. Motion
carried and seconded (Hollman/Johnson.) Motion approved unani-
mously.

Comm. Sulger made an inspection of this area. Another look wi'l l be
