None of the residents attended themeetlng. AIso, only three letterswere returned (out of approximately
1OO) which asked residents to vote Staffon the sign posting. Therefore, it
was motioned and seconded (Comm. Hol1man/
McDonne].]. ) that such request be denied!,rithout prejudice in light of the factno one showed up at the meeting. It was
approved unanimously.

4.1.2 Request for Short-Tern parking MetersParking Downtown Burlingame
Chairman Auran recommended that the several spaces on theeast side of Lorton be converted to 2-hour meters. Comm.McDonnetl suggested that the Traffic Engineer review.theChairmanrs recommendation and make a decision at a latermeeting. It was motioned and seconded (Comm. McDonnelt/Koenigs) that the issue be moved to the September meetingso the Traffic Engineer could conduct studj.es for arecommendation. It rras approved unanimously.

4.7.4 Request to paj.nt Curb Blue - 1325 Balboa Avenue.

Comm. Koenigs stated that he spoke to the residents next to1325 Balboa and no one objected to the blue curb. TheTraffic Engineer reviewed an evaluation sheet with theCommissioners to determine the validity of a btue curb atthis location. After some discussion it was moved andseconded (Comm. Koenigs/Ho1han) that the curb be paintedblue with a one-year renewal requirement ( fron date of H-Cap card). It was approved unanimously.
Request for Short-Term parking Meters - Downtown BurlingameParking. Garden Cafe request.
Ms. Nieman represented the Garden Cafe Restaurant and askedthat the 1o-hour parking meters be changed to 2-hour metersin Parking Lot K. The Traffic Engineer stated that he hadmade a report on June 3, L9B7 of a survey of Lot K. He hadrecommended that 7 of 20 spaces be converted on El CaminoReal side to 2-hour sta1ls and S on the Safeway side. Thatwould total 12 2-hour staIls changing the total from 35 to47 spaces.

Itwas approved unanimously.
