Commissioner Holiman concurred with the Traffic Engineer,sreport and withdrew this item from the Agenda. This item wasbrought to the Commission sometime ago b! Commissioner Hollmin.

Request for Short-Term Parking Meters - Downtown Burlingame parking.

6 Request for Yellow Zone - Lorton Avenue (across from Donnelly. )
It was moved and seconded by Commission (Hollman/Koenigs) to remove theyellow zone on the eastside of Lorton, opposite Donnelly Avenue.
The Traffic Engineer to discuss with Fire Chief as to what minimum lenq,thof red zone he recornmends in front of the fire hydrant. Comm. Hollman
suggested staff go ahead with replacing yellow zone with short-term parking
spaces.

4.2 1 Request for Short-Term Parking Meters - Downtown Burl ingame Parking.
Traffic Engineer brought a report from the Director of Public Works
Commission, that Council had spent some considerable time reviewing
the
Lorton Avenue, Park Road, Primrose Road and adjacent stre
ing on the existing parking configuration of 10-hour and 2

arking. Moreover, the Commission should have significant reasons
any further changes in these streets before going back to Council.
The Traffic Engineer suggested to the Commission that they consider deferringthis item to the September meeting. In the meantime, information would be
brought back to the meeting regarding the activity of the meter maids in the
enforcement of the 2-hour spaces.
2 Traffic Problems - Burlingame Avenue at Intersections Anita Road and
Arundel Road - No Stop Signs/SamTrans Buses on Streets.
Three residents attended meeting, they expressed their concerns regarding
speeding which they say is a real problem; trucks on Arundel , some trans-

information to the September meeting. Commission deferred this item
September meeting under Action Items. In the interim, the Traffic Enwill do some research of SanTrans' records of bus passengers.
4.2.3 Request to Paint Curb Blue - 1325 Balboa Avenue.
Commissioner Koenigs gave a report on his visit to this location. He spoke
with the resident here and she is in a walker and it is most difficult for
