Traffic Concerns - McKinIey School .
A proposed plan for traffic surrounding theMcKinley School block was prepared by theMcKinley School staff and introduced to theto the Commission for study.
Staff and Commission discussed the pIan, butonly in general terms so that the Commis-sionerrs would be aware of the traffic requestsfor the Aprit discussion meetj-ng.
It was noted that the school is busyapproximately three hours each day, and isclosed during the summer, therefore Stops sj.gnswould not be utilized during the months when
schooL is out for the summer.

After some discussion, Comm. requested thatstaff prepare a letter to mail out to theresj-dents surrounding the McKin]-ey Schoo]-requesting their opinion on the requestedtraf fj-c controls on the streets surroundlng theschool. The purpose of this letter is to getthe input from the residents so it can then bepresented to the Commissj.on for thej.r co-nsideration of the various alternatives. To beattached to this letter w111 be a map showingthe schoolrs fifteen requests.
