Request for Two-Hour Parking - 11OO TrousdaleDrive (Care West-Burlingame ).
Comm. O'Donnel1 visited this facility. Theyhave from thirty to fifty people per dayvisiting residents, and most are parking on thestreet. Staff suggested to Commission thatthis item should be brought up for action atthis meeting and should be acted upon.
Motion was then made and seconded (Comm.
Evans/Simonetti ) to move this item to an ActionItemi Commission unanimously approved. Motion
was then made and seconded (Comm. OrDonnell
/Simonetti ) to grant this request for two-hourparking for 9Or in front of Care West; un-animously approved by Commission.

Truck Trailers/Cargo Containers Parking onStreet - l57O/L590 Gilbreth Road.
Commission discussed the parking here in thisarea and can fj-nd no problem since this is forpublic parking. The bi,g trucks have to comeinto this area for pickups and delivery andthere is no other place for them to park otherthan on the street.

Motion was made and seconded (Comm. Evans,/Karp)to move this item to an Action Item; unanimous-Iy approved by the Commission. Motion was then
made and seconded (Comm. Evans/Simonetti ) thatparking on this street be left as it is; un-
animously approved by Commission.

Parking Lots
Chai.rman Amoroso visited this location. Thered zones are sma1l. Motion moved and seconded
(Comm. OrDonnell/Evans ) to move this item to anAction Itemi unanimously approved by Commis-sion. After some discussion, it was motioned
and seconded (Comm. Evans/O'Donnell ) that red
zone be installed 20' on south side of each
driveway to provide better vision. Unanimously
approved by Commission.
Commission will look at this area again to
consider any improvements that might be
necessary at the Carol an/Cadi lIac Way intersec-
ti-on.
Request to change Parking Time on Peninsula
Avenue Street Parking Sign to Earlier Time -
7OO Peninsula Avenue (Excursions in Learning).
Staff recommended to Commission to reduce the
time on this sign. Officer Cutler expressedtraffic problems this could create with parents
arriving to pick up children at this school
during peak hours of traffic. After some dis-cussion, it r4ras decided to put this item on the
Apri] Agenda under Action Items.
Cars Parking for Long Periods on Street
115 Arundel Road.
Mr. Devouineau spoke to the Commission regard-ing problems for his tenants caused by peopte
parking on the street for long periods of time
in front of his property. Chairman Amoroso
explained why it is lega1 to park here and that
this type of parking is throughout the City.
Mr. Devouineau was advised by the Chairman that
this is a public street and since there is
unlimited parking here, the Traffic, Safety and
Parking Commission is not able to request thatthe Burlingame Potice Department ticket or
remove the automobiles.

Commissioner Simonetti expressed his concernsregarding a traffic hazard for vehiclestraveling south on Carolan Avenue at CadiltacWay. Thi-s will be on the April Agenda under
New Business.
Staff will check to see how many accidents haveoccurred here and bring a report to the April
meeting.
Commissioner Karp made inqui.ry regarding ahandicap ramp on Lorton Avenue in back of thePost Office. This will be on the April Agendaunder Ner", Business .
