Petition for stop Sign at Anse1 Road andFloribunda Avenue
Comm. Evans requested that the police
Dept. nonitor the speed at this location.
Comm. OrDonnell asked about a crossqralk;however, staff stated that crosswalksshould be controlled by a Stop sign ortraffic signals.
Conm. Karp requested police rnonitoringfrom 8:00 a.n. to 10:00 a.m. and againfrom 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. police staffwill monitor at these times whenpossible.
lilr. Dellaway advised that there are notenough warrants to substantiate a Stopsign at this location. A1so, a ZS m.p.h.sign is already posted. staff
recommended more nonitoring of speed bythe Police Dept., especially onFloribunda which currently has excessive
speeding.
The following were comments frorn thefLoor! llost speed offenders areeastbound on Floribunda; average speed is50-50 n.p.h.; Yield sign not adhered toby every third auto; recommended $/ere aStop sign, speed bumps, a crosswalk, moreposted speed linit signs, and police
monitoring.

Staff spoke to school superintendent and schoolprincipal. They are attenpting to get parents/pTAsupport. This itern to renain as Inactive.
5.2 Request for Traffic Signat at california Drive and
Sanchez Avenue
staff advised that the child care business underconstruction at this location will be openingr nextmonth. This itern to remain as Inactive.

Comm. Sirnonetti stated that Eucalyptus trees onEaston are growing farther into the roads/ay,especially at cortez. comm. uayer suggested lightreflectors be pLaced on these trees.
