8. PUBLIC COMMENTS – At this time, persons in the audience may speak on any item on the agenda or any other matter
within the jurisdiction of the Council. The Ralph M. Brown Act (the State local agency open meeting law) prohibits Council from
acting on any matter that is not on the agenda. Speakers are requested to fill out a “request to speak” card located on the table by the
door and hand it to staff. The Mayor may limit speakers to three minutes each.

10. APPROVAL OF CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Adopt a Resolution approving the 2011-2012 annual report of the Burlingame Avenue Area
Business Improvement District and stating the Council’s intent to establish and levy assessments
on businesses within the District for 2012-2013 fiscal year
b. Adopt a Resolution accepting the Burlingame Gate/Grove/Village Subdivisions water main
replacement project, phase 2 by Ranger Pipelines, Inc.
c. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the filing of an application for State Local Partnership Program
(SLPP) in lieu of Federal Surface Transportation Program (STP)
d. Approve out of state travel for Chief Building Official
e. Adopt a Resolution approving an appropriation of $71,000 for the Burlingame Public Library
“Thin Client” technology project
