NEWBUSINESS. 6.1 Request for a "Vision Safety" Sign at Faringdon Lane and Oak Grove From the floor, Ms. Rosekrans explained tley requested a sign set back from the intersection so large trucks and vans can't park close to the intersection; it's a very dangerous situation since you can't see cross traffic when hrrning onto Oak Grove from Farringdon; and cars from El Camino Real speed down Oak Grove at over 35 mph. Sgt. Haseleu advised that the City Attorney sent a letter on August 9, 1995 to the owner of the uucks parking there advising that the trucks have to be parked on an off-street commercial location; so the trucks will have to go. Mr. Dellaway recommended height limit signs be placed for 40 feet from the corner and be enforced by the Police Departrnent. This will be a Discussion item next month. INFORMATION ITEMS. None.
