Traffic, Safety and Parking Commission Minutes July 11, 1996
1. CALL TO ORDER. 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Evans.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG.
ROLL CALL.5 of 6 Commissioners present. Acknowledged resignation of Chairman
Joseph Norton. It was moved and seconded (Comm. Amoroso/
Simonetti) to elect Vice Chairman Evans as Chairman; unanimously
approved by the Commission. It was then moved and seconded
(Comm. Preger/Amoroso) to elect Comm. Auran as Vice
Chairman; unanimously approved by the Commission.
4. CURRENT BUSINESS.
4.1 ACTION ITEMS.
4.1,.1 Minutes of June 13,1996 approved as submitted by the Commission.
4.1.2 Request to Convert Hillside Circle to a One-Way Street
Mr. Dellaway recommended postponing a decision for one month. It was
moved and seconded (Comm. Simonetti/Auran) to make this an Action item
next meeting; unanimously approved by the Commission. Chairman Evans
requested staff to re-notiff residents of action scheduled for next meeting.
4,2 DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.2.1 Request for Height Limit Signs at L633 Adrian Road
Discussion included awareness of trucks having to relocate each time height
limit signs or red zones are implemented. It was moved and seconded
(Comm. Preger/Simonetti) to move this to an Action item next meeting;
unanimously approved by the Commission.
5. INACTIVE ITEMS.
5.1 Request for Red Zone at 11 Guittard Road
This will be reviewed next meeting.
6. NEW BUSINESS. None.

Mr. Dellaway advised that Ralph Kirkup is now relocated to Kaiser's
Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo and is doing well.
