RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME URGING
TCI AMERICAN CABLE HOLDINGS H TO CONSIDER ADDING ETERNAL WORD
TELEVISION NETWORK TO ITS CHANNEL SYSTEM
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY of BURLINGAME that:
WHEREAS, the City has received petitions signed by a large number ofBurlingame residents
who would like to have Eternal Word Television Network as part of the channels offered by TCI
American Cable Holdings 11; and
WHEREAS, the City understands that TCI American Cable Holdings II (TCI) has been
meeting with representatives of the Eternal Word Television Network to seek agreement on how the
Network might be added to the channels offered by TCI,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the City Council urges TCI to respond to
the petitions received from Burlingame citizens asking that Eternal Word Television Network be
added to the channel offerings of TCI and consider adding the Network through the appropriate
contracts and arrangements. TCI is requested to inform the Council by January 1, 1999, about what
progress has been made in its consideration of this request, and the Council will consider that
information at the first regular Council meeting in Jai

that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
23rd day of Se tp ember, 1998, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
