HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 064-1998RESOLUTION NO. 64-g8 AWARDING CONTRACT - ALPINE & PALOMA PARK PLAYGROUNDS CITY PROJECT 9714 RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME, that; WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids for the ALPINE & PALOMA PARK PLAYGROUND, CITY PROJECT NO. 9714 and, WHEREAS, on May 26, 1998, all bids received were opened before the City Park Superintendent, Park Supervisor and Administrative Secretary of the Parks Division; and WHEREAS, COLLISHAW CONSTRUCTION, submitted the lowest bid for the job in the amount of $115,225.00; NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the bid of COLLISHAW CONSTRUCTION for said amount of $115,225.00 be and the same is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor. ivu i "n I, JUDITH A.
