AIRPORT BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9411
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids for the AIRPORT
BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 9411; and
WHEREAS, on APRIL 27, 1998, all bids were received and opened before the City Clerk and
representatives of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, SATTERFIELD & COMPANY submitted the lowest responsible bid for the job in
the amount of $421,266.81; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the Plans and
Specifications, including all addenda, are approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of SATTERFIELD & COMPANY for said project
in the amount of $421,266.81, and the same hereby is accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THERETO that a contract be entered into between the successful
bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the
City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burl' game to execute said
contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and mater}� bond r Wiffff�o e
furnished by the contractor. / Y
I, Judith A. Malfatti, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5 th day of MAY
1998, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
