RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AMENDING THE TIME LIMITS SET FOR PARKING LOT K (BETWEEN EL
CAMINO REAL/PRIMROSE ROADBURLINGAME AVENUE/HOWARD AVENUE)
TO MAKE ALL PARKING SPACES SUBJECT TO A TWO-HOUR LD41T
WHEREAS, Burlingame Municipal Code section 13.36.050 provides that the Council may
set the time limits and other regulations regarding the municipal parking lots in the City by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 27-96 comprehensively set time limits, meter rates, and other
regulations for the municipal parking lots; and
WHEREAS, Parking Lot K is located between El Camino Real, Primrose Road, Burlingame
Avenue, and Howard Avenue, and currently has primarily 2 -hour parking limits with only 1810 -hour
parking spaces; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic, Safety and Parking Commission has recommended that the Council
convert the remaining 18 ten-hour parking spaces in Parking Lot K to 2 -hour parking meters because
nearby Parking Lot H is underutilized and provides long term parking,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. Exhibit A to Resolution 27-96 is amended to provide that the Parking Limit for Parking
Lot K is 2 hours.
2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to change the signage and parking meters for
Parking Lot K to conform to this Resolution.
Except as expressly amended by this Res
shall remain in full force and effect.

Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day of
APR I L 1998, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
