ORDINANCE No, 1499
ORDINANCE AMENDING PROVISIONS CONCERNING
NONCONFORMING SIGNS
The CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME does
hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1, Section 22.08.030 of the Burlingame
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"27..08.030 Maintenance or alteration of existing signs.
A sign permit shall not be required for the maintenance
of an existing sign, such as repainting, which does not result in
a change or alteration in the size, shape, illumination, or text
of said sign. Any work other than such maintenance shall require
a sign permit."
Section 2. Section 22.42.010 of said code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"NONCONFORMING SIGNS
22.41.010 General requirements.
No nonconforming sign shall be moved without being made
to comply in all respects with the provision of this title."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
7th_ day of MARCH 1994, and adopted thereafter at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the 21st day of
MARCH , 1994, by the following vote:
