ORDINANCE NO. 1548
ORDINANCE EXTENDING ORDINANCE 1544 PROHIBITING
ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS AND DEMOLITION PERMITS
ON MULTIPLE LOT RESIDENTIAL SITES
Section 1. Extension of Interim Ordinance.
Ordinance 1544, adopted by this Council on June 3, 1996, is
hereby extended to October 15, 1996, or until the adoption and
effective date of an ordinance regulating building and
demolition permits on such lots, whichever occurs first. During
said period said ordinance 1544 shall remain in full force and
effect.
Section 2. This ordinance is adopted pursuant to
Government Code Section 65858, appropriate notice and hearing
having been given. The extension of ordinance 1544 is necessary
to allow sufficient time to further study zoning and general
plan amendments of the subject area and provide sufficient time
for the adoption of an ordinance implementing such amendments.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Burlingame
City Council held on the 1st day of July, 1996, by the following
