ORDINANCE EXTENDING SECTION 1 OF URGENCY ORDINANCE 1555
PROHIBITING MOVING FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS IN
BURLINGAME AVENUE COMMERCIAL AREA SUBAREA A
Section 1. Extension of Part of Interim Ordinance.
Section 1 of Ordinance 1555, adopted by this Council on October
7, 1996, is hereby extended to MARCH 17 1 1997, or until
the adoption and effective date of an ordinance regulating the
moving of food establishments in the Burlingame Avenue
Commercial Area, Subarea A, whichever occurs first. During said
period said .. - _first paragraph of Ordinance 1555 shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 2. This ordinance is adopted pursuant to
Government Code Section 65858, appropriate notice and hearing
having been given. The extension of Section 1 of Ordinance 1555
is necessary to allow sufficient time to further study of the
subject thereof and to provide sufficient time for the adoption
of an ordinance implementing such amendments.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as
required by law.Q
