ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 13.36 TO ESTABLISH NO PARKING
ZONE ON SOUTH SIDE OF BROADWAY BETWEEN CHULA VISTA AVENUE AND
CALIFORNIA DRIVE AND ONE HOUR PARKING ZONE ON BROADWAY FROM
CALIFORNIA DRIVE TO EL CAMINO EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROHIBITED
The CITY
COUNCIL
of the CITY OF BURLINGAME does hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1.
Traffic
on Broadway at the California Drive intersection is very
heavy, and
in order to better accommodate that traffic demand, the removal of the five parking spaces on the
south side of Broadway would allow addition of an additional travel lane in that block.
Section 2. Subsection 13.36.010(5) is amended to read as follows:
(5) Broadway, both sides from Rollins Road to the SouthernPacificright-of--way; south side
from California Drive to Chula Vista Avenue; south side from El Camino Real to Vancouver
Avenue.
Section 3. Subsection 13.36.020(2) is amended to read as follows:
(2) Broadway, both sides from El Camino Real to California Drive, four
Sundays and holidays excepted, unless otherwise prohibited or limited.
Section 4. Subsection 13.36.030(1) is amended to read:
(1) Broadway, both sides from EI Camino Real to Cali
fornia Drive, unless otherwise
prohibited or limited.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be published as required bylaw.
