Section 1. §4.24,050 0£ the Munica_pal Code of the City
of Burlingame is amended to read:
°`§4.24.050 United States or its instrumentalities,
Any deed, instrument or writing to which. the United
States or any agency or instrumentality thereof, any st@
or territory, or political subdivision thereof, is a
party shall be exempt from any tax imposed pursuant to
this chapter when the exempt agency is acquiring title,`
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as

1. An amendment of §11922, Revenue and Taxation Code
(exempting certain public agencies from payment of the Documentary
Stamp Tax) became effective on November 10, 1969, necessitating
a conforming adjustment to our Documentary Stamp Tax Ordinance,
3. The amendment should have no effect upon the annual
stamp tax revenues of the City.
