FINDING AND DECLARING THAT AIRPORT BOULEVARD, A
PRIVATELY OWNED AND MAINTAINED ROAD, IS OPEN FOR
PUBLIC USE AND THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THE CALIFORNIA
VEHICLE CODE SHALL APPLY
WHEREAS, there is in the City of Burlingame a privately
owned and maintained road commonly known as Airport Boulevard,
and which is an extension of a public street in the City of Buriin-
game, namely, Airport Boulevard; and
6JHEREAS, said private road is generally held open f_or use
of the public for purposes of vehicular travel, and is commonly
used by the public for those purposes, and
L4HEREAS,
Airport Boulevard,
the public street,
and Airport
Boulevard, the
private road, are
connected, each to
the other; and
WHEREAS, the public cannot determine that said private road
is not a public street or highways
NOW, THEREFORE, THE OTM
Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Municipal Code of the City of Burlingame is
amended by adding Chapter. 13.70 to Title 13, which shall
follows:

§ 13.60.010
FINDING AND
DECLARATION. The
City Council does

find and declare that the following privately owned and
intained roads. to wit:
(1) Portion of Airport Boulevard
ich is particularly described in Exhibit A, attached to this
and made a part hereof by reference, is generally held
for use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel, and
road so connects with public streets or highways that the
cannot determine that such private road is not a public
street or highway>
§ 13.60.020 Vehicle Code. The provisions of the Vehicle
of the State o£ California shall apply to the private roads
eci£ically designated in 13.60.010 of this Municipal

EXHIBIT A
All that real property situated within the City of Burlingame,
County of San Mateo, State of California described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot #10, Block No. 2, as
said Lot and Block are shown on that certain Map entitled
'ANZA AIRPORT PARK UNIT NO. 1 BURSINGAME, SAN MATEO COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, which Map was filed in Map Book Volume 61 at
Pages 20 and 21 on December 8, 1964, Official Records of
San Mateo County, California;"thence from said point of begin-
ning North 729.00 feet; thence West 946.85 feet to a point on
the easterly line of the BAY FRONT CHANNEL DRAINAGE EASEMENT
which EASEMENT is designated as PARCEL "A" on the above-
described Map; thence continuing along last described course
West 103.00 feet to the Westerly side of said BAYFRONT CHANNEL
DRAINAGE EASEMENT; thence North 87.00 feet to a point on the
westerly line of said BAY FRONT CHANNEL DRAINAGE EASEMENT
which point is S. 00 -17'-00" E. 359.66 feet from the North-
westerly corner of said DRAINAGE EASEMENT; thence continuing
along last said East Course 1,134.29 feet to a point; thence
South 956.00 feet to the Northeast corner of the Airport
Blvd. Right-of-way which was dedicated to the City of
Burlingame on the above described Map; thence West 84.00 feet
to a point on the east line of said Lot #10; thence along said
east line of said Lot #10, North 140.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
