AN ORDINANCE AMENDING §25.74.020 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDItdG
SUB -PARAGRAPHS 4 AND 5 REQUIRING THE REVIEW OF DEVELOP-
MENT PLANS IN HEARINGS ON APPLICATIONS FOR A SERVICESTATION USE
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. §25.74.020 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Burlingame is amended by adding thereto sub -paragraphs
4 and 5 which shall read and provide as followsc
"4. Special Permits for gasoline service
stations may be granted if the proposed devel-
opment plans are first approved as provided in
§§25.16.040 through 25.16.080, inclusive, and
upon showing that the development and mainten-
ance of structures, fences, walls and screening,
drainage, land-scaping, signs, lighting, spaces
for storage of waste products, appurtenant
equipment, vending machines and off-street park-
ing, serve the interest of the business community
and the health, safety, peace, comfort and gen-
eral welfare of the public.
5. An economic feasibility report may be re-
quired to accompany an application for a
special permit at either a new or an expanded
old location."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published as re-
quired by law.

that the foregoing ordinance was introduced at -a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the q day of JU-1 > 1972, and
adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 7th day of August 1972, by the following vote:
