AN ORDINANCE AMENDING � 15.08.070
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
ESTABLISHING RATES OF SEWER RENTAL CHARGES
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
Section 1. � 15.08.070 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Burlingame is amended to read and provide as follows:
"§ 15.08.070 Sewer rental - Service Charges.
Every person whose premises in the city are served by a
connection with the system of sewerage of the city whereby
the sewage or industrial wastes, or either or both, are dis-
posed of by the city, either through the facilities of the
sewage treatment
and
sewage
disposal
works
of the
city, or
otherwise, shall
pay
a sewer
rental
charge
based
upon the
quantity of
metered water used
in or upon
such premises of
twenty-four
cents per thousand
gallons of
water so measured, '
whether such
water is derived
from a source other than the
city water supply or all or any part of such water is fur-
nished to said premises without charges; provided, however:
1. That a minimum monthly rate of ten dollars
shall be charged and collected from all premises having
a connection with the sewerage system of the city and
not using city water;
2. That every person whose premises outside of
the city are served by a connection with the system of

sewerage of the city shall pay a sewer rental charge
based upon the quantity of metered water used in or upon
such premises of thirty-seven cents per thousand gallons
of water so measured."
Section 2. Ordinance No. 1020 adopted as an urgency
ordinance this 16th day of September, 1974, entitled "An
Amending § 15.08.070 of the Municipal Code Establishing Rates of
Sewer Rental Charges" is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as re-
quired by law.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
16th day of September 1974, and adopted thereafter
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day
of October , 1974, by the following vote:
