ORDINANCE OE THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AMENDING THE
BURLINGAME MUNICIPAL CODE AND THE ZONING MAPS INCORPORATED
1N THE ZONING CODE BY RECLASSIFYING THE M-1 DISTRICT TO
ROLLINS ROAD (RR) DISTRICT AND ESTABLISHING THE
AUTOMOBILE SALES AND SERVICE OVERLAY AREA AND THE SOUTHERN
GATEWAY ENTRANCE OVERLAY AREA IN THE ROLLINS ROAD DISTRICT
The CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. In September 2004, the City Council adopted the North Burlingame/ Rollins
Road Specific Plan for the northern portion ofthe City. This ordinance is adopted to implement
the zoning change of the Rollins Road area in accordance with that Specific Plan.
Section 2. The zoning maps attached to Ordinance No. 539 as amended and referenced
in Section 25.12.010 of the Municipal Code are amended as follows:
The area currently zoned as M-1 is rezoned as Rollins Road (RR) District.
The area along the Bayshore Freeway as shown on the exhibit to this ordinance north
of Easton Creek is placed within the Automobile Sales and Service Overlay Area.
The area along the north side of Broadway as
shown on the exhibit to this ordinance is
placed within the Southern Gateway Entrance Overlay Area.
This reclassification is shown on the exhibit to this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as required by law and shall take effect
upon the effective date of the Rollins Road (RR) District regulations adopted by separate
ordinance.

day of May, 2006, and adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
5"' day of June, 2006, by the following vote:
